Gaga fans, circle this Friday's date in red pen - her new single finally has a release date.

After three years without any new material, the star recently teased fans by revealing that the track, 'Perfect Illusion', would be released sometime in September and was produced by Mark Ronson.

The track also features Kevin Parker of Tame Impala in some respect, although it's not yet known if he was involved in a musical or a production capacity. Producer BloodPop, part of the team behind Justin Bieber's 'Sorry', was also involved - so, needless to say, it's lined up to be a big hit.

From her recent Instagram posts, we also know partial lyrics: "I don't need eyes to see / I felt you touching me / A rush like amphetamine / Maybe you're just a dream".

Either way, we'll hear it on Friday.
