Lady Gaga has announced that she will release The Fame Monster, a re-package of her 4 million-selling album The Fame. The album will include the entire album The Fame, along with eight entirely new songs. The Fame Monster deals with the seamier side of fame, as experienced by Gaga over the course of the year. The new version will be released in Ireland on November 20, 2009. Lady Gaga says, "On my re-release The Fame Monster, I wrote about everything I didn't write on The Fame. While travelling the world for two years, I've encountered several monsters, each represented by a different song on the new record. The re-release will see two iconic covers – one limited to an initial run of 10,000 copies. A super-deluxe magazine-style edition will arrive in December just in time for crimbo, including extra elements and never-before-seen photos of Lady Gaga.
