Now that awards season is firmly upon us it's easy to get swept up in all the hubbub about the Oscars and the Grammys. Amidst all that glitz and glamour you also shouldn't forget about another awards ceremony, the Golden Raspberry Awards, or Razzies, which celebrates everything rotten that has been released in the past 12 months of movies.
In what has been a less than ideal few months for Gaga since the release of her latest record ARTPOP, which hasn't sold as many units as her label anticipated, Gaga has picked up a Razzie nomination for Worst Supporting Actress for her turn in Robert Rodriguez's Machete Kills.
Gaga appears in the film as some sort of shapeshifting assassin and it, if reports are to believed, entirely unconvincing in that role. Joining her in the category is Salma Hayek, Katherine Heigl, Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan.
Lady Gaga isn't the only singer to feature in this year's list either, as Selena Gomez has also picked up a nomination for her terrible performance in Getaway.
The 34 annual Razzies will take place on March 1st, the night before the Academy Awards.
