Ahead of it's official launch on Thursday (5th) and general ticket release on Friday (6th), Oxegen have announced more world class artists for the summer 09 line up.
The biggest of these are the Manic Street Preachers and lady of the moment Lady GaGa, as well as Brooklyn band TV on the Radio, whose album Dear Sceince was one of the most critically lauded of last year. Florence and the Machine, The Game, Ladyhawke, James, Foals, Of Montreal, Friendly Fires and Squeeze will also be joining the line-up.
The festival have announced a new stage for 2009, the Red Bull Music Academy Arena, which will have a unique arena structure never used in Ireland before. The Red Bull Music Academy come equipped with experience from the likes of Barcelona's Sonar festival and Melt in Germany.
The official Oxegen launch will take place this Thursday March 5th. Entertainment.ie will be attending, so check back here for all the latest news.
