Having already announced that she will visit Ireland to play at Marlay Park's new @ The Park series of gigs this July, Scottish songstress KT Tunstall will return to our shores in October to play the Sligo Live festival.
Having made her name with hit singles like "Black Horse and The Cherry Tree" and "Suddenly I See", KT last year released her fourth studio album 'Tiger Suit'.
The first of many Scottish acts announced to celebrate the Sligo festival's link with Glasgow's Celtic Connections, KT will play at the Knocknarea Arena on Friday October 28th. Tickets priced €28 + €1 service charge go on sale from www.sligolive.ie and usual ticketmaster outlets this Friday May 27th. You can also purchase a special weekend ticket for €95 which spans all the festival's events, including Elvis Costello and a host of acts still to be announced.
