If you were concerned for the future of The Killers, fear no more. The Las Vegas band will reunite after a year's hiatus for a performance at the Lollapalooza festival in Chile this April.

After touring constantly for six years, the band officially announced that they would be taking a break last April, while frontman Brandon Flowers took the time to release his first solo album 'Flamingo'.

Now the band will play their first comeback gig at O'Higgins Park in Santiago as part of an international branch of the Lollapalooza festival, the main part of which takes place in Chicago in August. Kanye West, Jane's Addiction, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and 30 Seconds to Mars join The Killers at the top of the bill for the Chilean event on April 2nd and 3rd.

Though The Killers have not announced any other live dates, Flowers has confirmed that they are set to begin work on their fourth album after the Lollapalooza gig.
