It's been a while since we've heard from Keane - it's been four years, in fact, since their last album 'Strangeland' was released.

One of the reasons for their silence over the last while has just been revealed, however; frontman Tom Chaplin is releasing his debut solo album.

It's called 'The Wave' and is out on October 14th.
