Justin Timberlake fans who may have been a little vexed by the six-year-gap between his second and third albums won't have to repeat that wait, it seems. Timberlake has confirmed rumours that the follow-up to the recently released 20/20 Experience will come out later this year.

"Let me clear a rumour up", JT said to Ryan Seacrest at the album release party for the 20/20 Experience. "The news that this is only the first half of the album, that's true. That's all I'm gonna say!"

During the interview with Seacrest, which took place at the El Rey Theatre in California, Timberlake also revealed his inspiration for some of the 20/20 Experience: Radiohead.

'Blue Ocean Floor', from the new album, came from Timberlake listening to Radiohead's OK Computer and Kid A endlessly, while 'Let The Groove Get In' was as if "The Jackson 5 went to Brazil".
