Ghost Dog, Dead Man and Coffee and Cigarettes director Jim Jarmusch is currently busy curating the next All Tomorrow's Parties festival due to take place in New York from September 3rd to 5th. The festival's line up includes Sonic Youth, The Breeders, Explosions in the Sky, Sunn O))), Hope Sandoval and more, while headlining the Friday night is the legendary Iggy And The Stooges.

But ATP is not the only work Jarmusch is doing with the great Iggy Pop. He's also planning to make a documentary about the musical icon. The film will be a long term project, which came about after Iggy approached Jarmusch and asked him to be involved.

Speaking to Pitchfork.com, Jarmusch said, "It's something Iggy asked me to do. There's a rule in my household that if Iggy is playing anywhere within 90 miles, we go. It's going to take a few years though. There's no rush on it."
