James Vincent McMorrow will release Post Tropical, the follow-up to his hugely successful debut album Early In The Morning, on January 10th. The singer will also embark on a UK & Ireland tour in the weeks following the album's release, taking in Irish dates in Cork, Limerick, Kilkenny and Dublin immediately after a spell in the UK. Check out the album teaser below.

Post Tropical was recorded on a pecan farm just half a mile from the Mexican border and McMorrow suggests that his second release will be quite the departure from his first.

"’I'm so proud of [Early In The Morning], but I never longed to be a guy with a guitar", he said. "You play these songs live as best you can, and suddenly you’re a Folk musician. But the texture of this record is completely different. This is the kind of stuff I actually listen to."

James will play the following Ireland and UK shows for 2014 and announce further plans for Post Tropical’ shortly.
