Following on from last week's announcement that he would play ten dates at London's O2 Arena between July 8th and 28th, Michael Jackson has revealed plans to release new music before that time.

Randy Philips, head of concert promoters AEG Live has confirmed that the King of Pop will release a new single before the London gigs. "Michael has got some new music and he is looking for a new way of disseminating his material to his fans." Despite his eagerness to play new music, Jackson will stay true to his word and play the "songs the fans want to hear," and will make it quite a show with "technical effects that have never been seen before."

Tickets for the ten dates at London's O2 Arena went on sale this morning (11th) across the pond. Despite the fact that these gigs have garnered the slogan "This Is It," it is rumoured that Jackson will announce another ten O2 shows, while there is speculation that Jackson may even embark on a tour once they are finished.
