Jack White really loves his side-projects and collaborations, doesn't he? The next one of the horizon is something of a supergroup (another one), featuring The Kills' Alison Mosshart, Queen's of the Stone Age's Dean Fertita, and Raconteur eile Jack Lawrence.

The band are calling themselves "The Dead Weather," and kicked off their live career with an intimate performance for 150 people at the Nashville offices of Third Man Records last night (March 11th).

The Dead Weather will release their debut album, 'Horehound' (classy title), in June, preceded by lead single 'Hang You From The Heavens' and its B-side, a cover of Gary Newman's 'Are Friends Electric?'
