S Club 7 become the latest fading pop music memory to announce a return to the stage.

Following the cue of the Spice Girls, Take That, 5ive, Steps, Blue and that ungodly amalgamation known as McBusted, S Club 7 have announced that the full and original line-up will get back together for another crack at the charts.

As per Metro, Tina Barrett, Paul Cattermole, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O'Meara, Jon Lee, Hannah Spearritt and Rachel Stevens have signed up for a money-spinning reunion tour.

A 'source' told The Sun: "the seven have had a lot of big money offers over the years but they only feel the time is right now. Simon (Fuller) wants this comeback to be even bigger than Take That or Steps.

The band claimed four number one singles, a TV show and a spin-off pop group (S Club Juniors, anyone?) during their time in the spotlight but you would have to wonder how strong the desire to see them reunite is, especially when you consider that four of them still travel the UK together playing strings of depressing shows on the pub circuit.

Anyway, time will tell on that front we suppose...
