For the first time in the history of Electric Picnic there will be present a Theatre of Food present on site to allow you to sample all manner of culinary delights. The Picnic is already well known for the quality of food available but now the Theatre of Food will add an extra dimension to that with food demos, wine tasting, speeding dating and pop up dining all scheduled to take place. And yes, there will be plenty of opportunities to sample the food!
The Theatre of Food will be located next to MindField in the Main Arena and will not only feature demos but talks and lectures by some reputable foodies, including Paul Flynn of The Tannery; Derry Clarke of L'Ecrivian; Martin Shanahan of Fishy Fishy, and many more. In a stroke of genius, your tables will be "waited" by comedians. Best leave a generous tip, then.
