Iron Maiden have announced that they will be releasing a tour documentary entitled "Iron Maiden: Flight 666." The film charters the first leg of their Somewhere Back In Time World Tour which kicked off in Mumbai on February 1st of last year

On a tour described as "the most ambitious and adventurous tour in rock history," award-winning Toronto documentary filmmakers Banger Production were granted exclusive access to the heavy metal legends for almost two months as they played 23 shows across the world in just 45 days.

The film will show exclusive footage of frontman Bruce Dickinson flying the band between venues on their custom made jumbo Boeing 747 jet, nicknamed "Ed Force One" after their mascot, Eddie.

The monumental tour continues until March 28th of this year when it is scheduled to end in Buenos Aires.

Iron Maiden: Flight 666 will be released in cinemas on April 21st
