We recently told you about the new Christmas EP from Popical Island, released today for free from popicalisland.bandcamp.com, but the Dublin music collective are not the only people feeling the spirit of giving this festive season.
Dublin singer-songwriter Goodtime John has put together a three track covers EP called 'Kinda Xmas', taking on classics such as 'Put A Little Love In Your Heart', 'Threw It All Away' and Wham's festive classic 'Last Christmas'. Pick it up for free over at goodtime-music.blogspot.com.
Elsewhere, Hefty Horse have put together a five track Christmas mini-album featuring tracks from At Last An Atlas, Big Monster Love, Crayonsmith feat. Niamh Buckley, Norabelle and Drunken Boat's Brian Walsh. Finally, Visionair, the new project from Redneck Manifesto member and Jape mastermind Richie Egan with Niall Byrne, are giving away a non-Christmas related four track EP for free via www.divshare.com/download/13497549-534. You'll have to sign up, but it's worth it.
