Heineken is set to ensure music fans can enjoy the best festival experience yet with great sight, sound and taste on offer at this year's Electric Picnic. For the first time ever, festival goers can enjoy a view of the main stage from the comfortable surroundings of the purpose built Heineken beer garden. The custom built structure will house a bar serving Heineken Extra Cold to thirsty music fans throughout the day, as well as a raised viewing area with panoramic views of the festival and main stage.

Revellers will be treated to a live feed of all the Picnic action; news, footage, snaps and tweets at the Heineken Live Area so they can keep their festival fingers on the pulse and take it all in.

Heineken's three festival bars dotted around the site will each be inspired by the public's favourite Electric Picnic memories of yesteryear. For the past two weeks, Facebook users have been voting in their droves for their favourite EP moments to inspire the bar designs created by three of Ireland's top artists; Moto 777, Maser and Morgan.

The top three moments voted were;

1) 2005, the year Arcade Fire, The Human League and Kraftwerk played, came out on top in the Heineken poll
2) 2004 where Groove Armada took to the stage
3) 2006 when Basement Jaxx came to Stradbally

Flexing its green credentials once more, Heineken is also introducing an eco-initiative that will reward those who return discarded plastic cups to designated points with on-the- spot prizes.
