As one of the biggest heartthrobs on Planet Pop right now, Harry Styles has undoubtedly had all manner of bras and various undergarments thrown at him in the past.
The former One Direction member - who recently announced a date at Ireland's Slane Castle next summer - has probably never had fast food items hurled his way mid-gig, though.
Styles was playing a date at his 15-show residency at New York's Madison Square Garden over the weekend when someone pelted him with a couple of chicken nuggets - presumably in an 'affectionate' way, rather than 'This song is crap, get off the stage' manner.
The biggest issue, however, is that Styles is vegetarian, and although he applauded the fan's "very interesting approach" to getting his attention, he resisted the crowd's chanting for him to eat it.
"I don't eat chicken," he said, before tossing one piece back into the audience. "I don't eat meat. No mange carne. First of all, this is cold, and I'm assuming very old…"
He eventually threw the offending foodstuff back into the crowd, urging them not to eat it after it had fallen on the floor. "Don't go looking for it," he said. "We'll get you another nugget. Fear not."
Styles plays Slane on June 10th, 2023 and tickets are on sale this Friday, September 2nd.
