Hard Working Class Heroes has become something of an institution on the Irish music calendar over the course of the last decade. Now in its eleventh year, HWCH has today announced details of its return to the capital for what will likely be the biggest music showcase festival ever seen on our shores.

Band applications have today been opened, aimed at filling the 100+ slots which will take over some of Dublin's most prominent music halls across the 3rd, 4th and 5th of October. Those of you who are performers and wish to apply, all you have to do is visit www.hwch.net. The closing date for applications is Friday 26th July.

Today also sees the launch of Hard Working Class Heroes Digital, set to be a major new component of the HWCH experience. HWCH Digital aims to directly mirror for tech companies working in the entertainment sector what HWCH does for music. HWCH Digital will provide 25 selected companies the chance to pitch to Venture Capitals and investors over the weekend as well as have access to mentoring, panels and tip sessions the same way bands have over the past ten years.

The call is now out for technology innovators to apply for HWCH digital consideration, also over at hwch.net.

Early bird tickets are available now at a reduced rate via entertainment.ie/tickets priced at €35 + booking fees. Grab them while you can! Offer lasts until July 26th.

Regular prices: Weekend Tickets €45.00 plus fees, Nightly Tickets €20 plus fees
