The will they/won't they saga is over as Happy Mondays have officially confirmed that they are reuniting for a tour, taking in a show in The Olympia in Dublin on 15th May. Rumours began to develop over the past few weeks (which were subsequently shot down by the band's management) that the band were to tour this year and these have been confirmed by backing vocalist Rowetta Satchell.

Speaking to BBC News, Satchell said: "We want to put on a really good show. We decided it would only be special and work if it was the total, original line-up. We're all really excited. They are my family, these boys, I've really missed them and I'm sure they've missed each other."

Satchell also confirmed that the group would be happy playing support to The Stone Roses in Heaton Park, Manchester, this summer.
