Glen Hansard and O Emperor are among the acts confirmed for this year's annual fundraiser for Barretstown House, the specially-designed camp set up by the actor Paul Newman to help children with serious illnesses.
The Barretstown Inspirations charity gig will take place at the Olympia Theatre on April 1st. The Frames frontman and Choice Prize nominated Waterford band will be joined on the night by The Stunning, Delorentos, Dirty Epics and Ryan Sheridan. Each act will take on songs by their musical icons, including classics by David Bowie, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones and U2.
