Irish charity Haven founded and spearheaded Haiti Week in 2012, during which time they raised a staggering €200,000 for the country. This year, though, they intend to raise even more and have outlined plans for this year's Haiti Fest, the final event of Haiti Week, which runs from 19th to 26th of January.

Haiti Fest will take place on Saturday 26th of January in The Sugar Club, with performances from Ham Sandwich, Raglans and The Walls.

Tickets for this event cost a mere €15 and all proceeds will go towards the Haven's projects in Haiti.

Further events are planned to benefit Haiti, including:

Hugs for Haiti - Saturday 19th January - Nationwide bucket collection day
Host for Haiti – running all week, encouraging the Irish public to host Haitian themed dinner parties
