Ham Sandwich and The Chapters are among the top local acts offering their talents to help raise money for Haiti. Haiti Aid Dublin 2010 is a Fundraising Music Marathon that takes place in Whelans and The Village on February 3rd to raise funds for Irish Red Cross specifically for the victims of the Haiti Earthquake disaster.

As well as a huge line up featuring Butterfly explosion, Patrick Kelleher, Sleep thieves, Tiny Magnetic Pets, The Holy Roman Army, Grand pocket orchestra, The DLS, Subplots, The Civilians, Films and Davie Louis, the event will be MC'd by Phantom 105.2's Michelle Doherty, Stephen Higgins from The Apprentice and Ringo Bingo.

All the acts and Whelan's and The Village are giving their services for free, and there's even a chance that the event will be extended to Andrew's Lane Theatre. There'll be a big raffle on the night, as well as drinks promotions and free samples from Diageo and Captain Morgan.

Tickets priced €20 are on sale now from tickets.ie. For more information visit www.mycharity.ie/event/haiti_aid_dublin_2010, where you can also make a donation to the cause.
