Remember Hal? After hitting the charts in 2005 with their self-titled debut album and its singles 'What A Lovely Dance' and 'I Sat Down', the band led by brothers Paul and Dave Allen took a few years off before resurfacing last year to play a low key set at the Grand Social for Hard Working Class Heroes. Now the band are ready to release their second album 'The Time The Hour', and its coming our way in August.
Before that, however, Hal release a new single, 'Be With You' available digitally now and physically from Friday May 13th, and have announced a show at Whelan's on Friday May 6th. Tickets are priced €10. In the meantime, they're giving away album track 'Down In The Valley' as a free download from halmusic.bandcamp.com, and have also unveiled a new video for the track 'Close To Her'.
