Ex-Grandaddy frontman Jason Lytle has announced his comeback in the form of a solo album to be released this May.

The California indie quintet split in 2006, partly due to their reluctance to release music on major labels. Since then guitarist Jim Fairchild has released a solo album and drummer Aaron Burtch now records with a band called The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit. Following on from the launch of his own website last Spring, now comes Lytle's turn with his first solo album, entitled Yours Truly, The Commuter.

Yours Truly, The Commuter is due for release on May 18th and the tracklisting is as follows:

Yours Truly, The Commuter
Brand New Sun
Ghost Of My Old Dog
I Am Lost (And The Moment Cannot Last)
Birds Encouraged Him
It's The Weekend
Furget It
This Song Is The Mute Button
Rollin' Home Alone
You're Too Gone
Flying Thru Canyons
Here For Good
