It's all about the Grammys this morning, as the nominations for the 51st annual awards for outstanding achievements in the music industry were announced last night during a televised concert featuring Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera and BB King.

Top of the 2009 nominees is Lil Wayne with eight nominations, followed closely by Coldplay with seven, while Jay-Z, Kanye and Ne-Yo each received six nominations.
The reaction to the academy's choices have been generally positive, especially with the Brits - as they're absolutely delighted that Coldplay, Radiohead, Leona Lewis, Adele and Duffy have all received nominations, and are doing their usual thing of shouting from the rafters about  how amazing they are.
