Gomez' Tom Gray recently spoke with Entertainment.ie's John Balfe ahead of the release of their latest record Whatever's On Your Mind and he spoke of how the band has changed over the years and, oddly, how they were somehow involved in the demise of Justine Frischmann's Elastica!
"Elastica were trying to make a comeback and Justine Frischmann turned up to our dressing room. Ben had some chloraseptic spray for a sore threat and she came in and was like "what's that?" and was a bit pissed and downed it and lost all the feeling in her throat. I think they didn’t do the gig and it was like their big comeback gig and that was the end of their career."
