The advent of AI has brought about some seriously disturbing (not to mention realistic) deepfake videos over the past year or so.

However, few of them have been as downright weird as Gollum from 'Lord of the Rings' lip-syncing to Scatman John.

Those of us of a certain age will clearly remember the 1995 hit 'Scatman (Ski-Ba-Bop-Ba-Dop-Bop)', but you've never seen it performed like this.

Someone (because the internet) has made a video of Gollum lip-synching to the song, and there's something oddly compelling about it. Alright, it's pretty funny.
