Glen Hansard has been added to the ever-expanding Iveagh Gardens gigs series. The occasional Frame will play the City Centre venue on Sunday 21st July, joining the likes of yesterday's addition Damien Dempsey and the previously announced Grizzly Bear, Tallest Man on Earth and Beach House to play the concert series. Support will come in the shape of Sam Amidon and Lisa O'Neill.
Hansard has also confirmed that he'll be making an appearance at the Big Top in Galway, as part of the city's Arts Festival, on Thursday 25th July. Both performances will see Glen joined on stage by his eleven-piece band.
Tickets for both shows will go on sale from 28th February.
The Dubliner was also recently added to the bill for Tennessee's Bonnaroo festival - one of the biggest music and arts festivals of its type in the world.
