Following on from the recent announcements of The Tallest Man on Earth and Beach House playing the Iveagh Gardens this summer, US indie rockers Grizzly Bear have now been added to what is fast becoming one of the most exciting gigs series in our capital city this summer.
The New Yorkers will play the idyllic gardens on July 18th next. No support acts have been confirmed as of yet.
Grizzly Bear released their fourth album Shields in September, which was followed by a European tour towards the end of 2012 with our very own Villagers.
Except at two or three support acts to be confirmed in the coming weeks, given that doors for the event will open at 6.30pm and we presume Grizzly Bear will take to the stage somewhere in the region of 9pm.
Tickets for the show will go on sale at 9am on Friday February 22nd and will set you back a not unreasonable €33.50.
