As is the case every year that Glastonbury opens its doors to the public, a whole host of rumours are emerging as to who might be dropping in to play secret shows.

Bookies have made Daft Punk as 6/4 favourites to surprise the revellers at Worthy Farm with an unannounced gig. Beady Eye are also heavily tipped, with William Hill placing them at 5/1, while David Bowie is 6/1 and Queens of the Stone Age coming in at a modest 10/1.

Joe Crilly, a spokesperson for William Hill, elaborated on the odds further, saying: "Who has not been to a festival already this year and heard the rumour that Bowie is there, except for Download perhaps? There will undoubtedly be no change at Glasto, but the odds would suggest that there is plenty of weight behind this rumour."

The odds that you yourselves made, Joe? While they've placed very favourable odds on Daft Punk showing up, we still think that it's pretty unlikely - unless the bookies know something we don't?

Meanwhile, despite only being second favourites in the odds about to show up at Glasto, Beady Eye have practically announced that they'll play. Liam Gallagher tweeted yesterday saying: "11am Friday - BE there or BE square..LG x", which sort of makes a mockery of the 5/1 odds.
