Girls Aloud have cancelled their gig at Dublin's 02 on March 17th. MCD published a statement on their website this morning, confirming that the St Patrick's Day gig will not go ahead due to "production difficulties".

"Unfortunately, due to unforeseen time restraints with the transportation of production equipment between the Irish and UK tour dates, the extra Girls Aloud concert added on Sunday 17th March 2013 at The O2 has been cancelled. Due to tour routing it has not been possible to reschedule this date. Girls Aloud, The O2 and Promoters apologise to fans for any inconvenience caused." the statement reads.

The news isn't all bad though. The band's three other Irish gigs, on the 13th and 14th of March in Belfast and the 16th of March in Dublin, will go ahead as planned and some fans will be able to swap their tickets to gain entry on one of these nights, Subject to availability, and on a first come first serviced basis, they can exchange their original concert tickets before 6.00pm next Tuesday 12th March 2013 from the original place of purchase. They also have the option to obtain a full refund.
