Good news for fans of Dublin's experimental rock/post-punk foursome Girl Band - they're making a return to Vicar Street early next year.

Following on from their Metropolis set at the weekend, the band will play a special Vicar Street date on February 17th, with all proceeds very admirably going to charity Pieta House, a non-profit suicide and self-harm crisis centre.

"We're very happy to be organising this event as mental health is an issue that is very close to the four of us as a band," they said in a statement. "We hope this can help raise both much needed cash and awareness for the cause."

Tickets are €30 and on sale from usual outlets this Thursday, November 10th, at 9am.
