Gomez will once again visit Dublin in 2011, this time to play the Olympia Theatre on Saturday June 19th. After fifteen years together, guitarist and vocalist Ben Ottewell released his first solo album earlier this year, but that doesn't appear to have slowed them down. Expect to hear old favourites 'Whipping Piccadilly' and 'Bring It On' as well as tracks from their six album back catalogue. Tickets priced €26 go on sale tomorrow morning, Friday March 25th at 9am.

New Jersey's The Dillinger Escape Plan have announced a Dublin show for summer 2011. They will play a strictly over 18s show at The Academy on August 3rd. Tickets priced €20 are on sale now.

Bell X1's Paul Noonan, Liam O Maonlai and Jamie Lawson are among the Irish acts lined up to play a special charity event to commemorate 25 years since the devastating nuclear disaster at Chernobyl. The gig, billed as "25 Songs For 25 Years", will take place at Kilkenny's Set Theatre on April 25th and will also feature sets from Clive Barnes, Ian Doyle and other special guests. Tickets are priced at €25 with profits going to Chernobyl Children International.

Ahead of the release of new album 'Wit's End' in April, California based singer songwriter Cass McCombs has announced that he play Dublin's Grand Social on May 26th. Tickets priced €15 are on sale now from tickets.ie and usual ticketmaster outlets.

Dan Sartain has announce three Irish dates for April, stopping at Cork's Crane Lane on the 27th, playing at set at McHugh's in Belfast on the 28th as part of the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival before finishing up in Dublin's Button Factory on April 29th.

The Rubberbandits have rescheduled theirApril 21stdate at Dublin's Olympia Theatre due to recording commitments. The show will now take place on Saturday October 8th instead. Tickets will remain valid for the new date, and refunds are available from point of purchase.
