Son Lux, who some may know as Ryan Lott, is a post rock/alternative hip-hop artist who is making the trip from the Big Apple to play in the Workman's Club in Dublin on 24th January next. He is also a member of S/S/S and can boast collaborations with the likes of Nico Muhly and Arcade Fire's Richard Perry. Tickets to the show are on sale now, priced at €14.50.
The Deep Dark Woods will take to the stage upstairs in Whelan's on 5th February. The alt-country Canadians released a brand new single '18th of December' recently, which the video suggests that life for a touring musician can turn you into something of a runaway, strealing moments of peace and beauty in the midst of relentless pressures, schedules and dreams. Tickets for this one will set you back €13.
