We have a trio of gig announcements to bring you this lunchtime from MCD. The first of which is Limp Bizkit, who will make their second appearance in Dublin's Olympia Theatre in the space of a little over three years when they headline the Kerrang! Tour 2014, along with support acts Crossfaith and the imaginatively titled Nekrogoblikon. Tix will you set you back €27.

Speaking of the headline slot, nu-metal prince Fred Durst said: "It's an honour to headline the Kerrang! Tour. It's a really inspirational and motivational thing for Limp Bizkit. We are going through a pretty amazing phase in our journey and it couldn’t have come at a better time. The Kerrang! Tour will be the official launch of [new album] Stampede of the Disco Elephants. I can't tell you how magical that feels. It's going to get chaotic and wild."

In addition to this, MCD have also announced that HAIM will play a headline show in The Academy on 13th December next, with tickets on sale from this Friday priced at €17.50, while Slow Skies will take to the stage at the Unitarian Church on Friday 8th November. Tickets for this one are on sale now at €13.
