Huey Morgan and his Fun Lovin' Criminals will return to their adopted home for a gig in Dublin's Academy on Friday 17th January. Purveyors of cinematic hobo hip-hop rock 'n' roll blues-jazz soul-review vibes, the FLC's were among the best-loved bands in the world throughout the 90's as they chronicled life in their native city while bending the global ear to the sonic possibilities of exuberant hip-hop gangster-rock merged with lounge music, funk, Mariachi trumpets and bassomatic Barry White. Tickets to see them in The Academy are on sale now, priced at €22.10.

Gavin James has added a second date in the Pepper Canister Church after huge public demand for the first batch of tickets. James will now play the venue on Saturday 14th December in addition to the previously announced date the night before on the 13th. Tickets for the extra show are on sale now priced at just €16.

Drenge have also just announced details of an Academy 2 headline show on 26th October next. The Derbyshire rockers' sound can be described as most exhilarating chapters of punk rock whittled down to its leanest, meanest, no-frills essence but don't take our word for it; head over to The Academy 2 to check 'em out for yourself. Tix are available from Thursday at 9am and will set you back just €13.
