Two live music announcements for you today, with both The Coronas and Biffy Clyro confirming details of outdoor shows at the Royal Hospital in Kilmainham. 

Biffy Clyro will play the Dublin venue on Saturday the 28th of June 2014. After a phenomenal summer which saw the band play their first headline sets at Reading, Leeds and Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Biffy Clyro again triumphed with prestigious awards including Best Album for ‘Opposites’ from both Q and Kerrang!, as well as a Live Music Award for Best Festival Performance for their stunning set at Reading. The trio have concluded 2013 with their biggest tour of mainland Europe to date, and will commence 2014 with a West Coast tour of the United States and Canada, as well as Australia’s touring Soundwave Festival.

Meanwhile, at the same venue on the previous night, 27th June, The Coronas will hold court to celebrate their recent IMRO award for their single " Mark My words " as the most played track on Irish radio in 2012. 

Tickets for The Coronas priced €39 including booking fee go on sale this Wednesday, 18 December at 9am while Biffy Clyro tickets are slightly more expensive at €44.50.
