Here's how Twitter reacted to the Garth Brooks gigs over the weekend

The country superstar thrilled the crowds at Croke Park

As you may have heard, a little-known artist by the name of Garth Brooks played a few small gigs in Dublin over the weekend.

We're kidding, of course: the country megastar finally kicked off his 5-night run at Croke Park - the first time he's played Ireland since 1997 - on Friday, with three gigs taking place this past weekend.

He'll be back for round two next Friday and Saturday night - but by all accounts, the first three gigs in the run were a huge success.
