Noel Gallagher says his planned album with psychedelic producers Amorphous Androgynous may never see the light of day. Due to tour commitments, Gallagher admits he hasn’t been able to tackle the issues he has with the record – the main gripe being that the mix just doesn’t sit well with the Mancunian.
Having announced news of the album when he was releasing his debut solo record last year, Gallagher says that things haven’t gone to plan since.
He told The Sun: "Since then I've been on the road and because of that I’ve not been in the mixing, and I’m not happy with any of the mixes. They’re going backward and forward so then the plan was to get mixing done after the tour, but this tour has gone on so long that there’s been no time, and that means looking at it next year. But by then I fear the moment may have passed."
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds play Dublin’s Marlay Park on 23 August alongside Kasabian. You can get tickets via Ticketmaster.
