A glut of gig announcements have reached us here in our offices this Friday morning. Possibly the most exciting of which is the news that Foals will kick off their February UK and Ireland tour with a show in The Olympia, before heading over the Irish sea from five English shows. Support for the tour will come from US rock act Cage The Elephant. Tickets will go on sale from 9am next Friday 30th August, priced at a pretty reasonable €25.90.

Any fans of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons out there? New Jersey Nights, a retreading of the Four Seasons' greatest hits has been breaking box office records across the USA and UK and will come to Dublin's Gaiety Theatre next Spring. Tickets for the run will go on sale from Friday 30th August, priced at €28.65 to €39.70.

City and Colour, AKA singer songwriter Dallas Green, will play The Olympia in Dublin on 22nd January next on the band of his latest tour which sold out in Canada in the space of minutes. Green was last seen in this neck of the woods playing high profile support slots to the likes of Pink and Biffy Clyro. Tickets for the show will go on sale this Friday, priced at €27.
