José Gonzalez' new band Junip are offering a four track EP by the name of 'Rope and Summit' as a free download from their official website, www.junip.net. The EP will officially go on sale in record shops on May 25th, while the band's debut album 'Fields' will follow on September 10th.
Elsewhere, the totally awesome and wildly underrated Menomena are set to release their fourth full length, 'Mines', album on August 6th. Ahead of its release, the Portland trio are giving away the track 'Five Little Rooms' as a free download. The five minute track comes complete with that recognisable Menomena sax, piano and creepy harmonies. Loving It.
