Earlier in the year, we told you about a new festival from the folks behind Electric Picnic's Body and Soul Arena. The Body and Soul Soltice Gathering will take place in Ballinlough Castle, Co. Westmeath on June 19th and 20th, and will feature musical performances from Four Tet, Jape, Chk Chk Chk, Tunng, Crystal Fighers, Voice of the Seven Thunders, Gaudi, Alex Paterson and Kormac’s Big Band.
As well as these fine acts and more to be announced, there will also be electronic acts, street theatre, acoustic jams, a healing area, a permaculture garden, a soul kids area, visual arts, workshops, hot tubs, late night cabarets and a masquerade ball with a moon lit orchestra under the stars.
Early bird tickets go on sale this Saturday March 13th priced €99, which will later be bumped up to €109. Sunday day tickets are priced €55, and if you want to bring your campervan, that's another €30. Bus Eireann are providing buses from Dublin, Cork & Galway.
