Cork will be something of a hotbed for legendary acts next summer, after former Beach Boy Brian Wilson's addition to the ever-expanding Live at the Marquee concert series.
Wilson, who was last on our shores for a date with Electric Picnic's main stage in 2009, will play the Marquee in Cork on Friday 4th July. This year's Marquee gigs is becoming something of a heritage event with Cliff Richard, Dolly Parton, Bob Dylan, Tom Jones and Robert Plant all already confirmed.
Wilson's appearance will be something of an anniversary too, as he was the first act to ever play Live at the Marquee way back on the 30th June 2005.
Tix to the gig will be on sale from Thursday 27 February at 9.00am.
