The nominations for this year's Shockwaves NME Awards have been announced, with Foals leading the pack with five nods, including those for Best British Band and Best Track. The Oxford band will be competing with Arcade Fire, who've come in second place with four nominations, in the categories of Best Live Band and Best Album.
Dave Grohl will receive the award for Godlike Genius at this year's ceremony where he will also perform live with the Foo Fighters. The Shockwaves NME Awards take place at London's Wembley Arena on February 25th and will also feature live performances from Cee Lo Green, Band of Horses and No Age.
