Those of you who saw Kraftwerk's gig at the IMMA in Dublin last September, count yourselves lucky - it was probably the last time that founding member Florian Schneider played an Irish date with the band.
Schneider formed the legendary electronica band 40 years ago and was the only remaining original member, along with Ralf Hutter.
No reason was given for Schneider's departure, although the band are set to continue without him, supporting Radiohead on their forthcoming South American tour.
