I've been criticised before for accusing the very talented Miss Florence Welch of milking her brilliant debut album 'Lungs'. Having released no less than six singles from the album as well as a four disc deluxe edition of the top selling record, Florence is now at it again with a new reissue, to feature the new single 'Heavy In Your Arms' which was originally included on the soundtrack for Twilight: Eclipse.
The new edition of the album will be called 'Between Two Lungs', a line taken from the album's title track. The reissue will come with new artwork, sleeve notes by Florence herself and a 10 disc second track featuring exclusive live songs and remixes, including 'You Got The Dirtee Love' with Dizzee Rascal. It is this disc on which the Twilight single will appear.
Florence wrote on her website, "Heavy In Your Arms I suppose is about the weight of love, and how sometimes it can be a burden between two people. I felt this was a strong theme in the Twilight series, is someone being rescued or are they being condemned? And is the love you carry bringing you down.
"I recorded it with Paul (Epworth) one evening, using a lot of strange reversed vocal samples and big hip hop piano. It's basically inspired by 90's hip hop, and gospel choirs, like most of my songs."
'Heavy In Your Arms' will be released as a single on November 15th, the same day as the reissued album. The full tracklist for disc two of 'Between Two Lungs' can be found below.
