Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham has revealed that the group will reform next year for a tour and a new album. Buckingham, who is set to release his solo album Seeds We Sow on 6th September, told Rolling Stone "with Fleetwood Mac, there's a lot of landmines out there politically and it's hard to get everybody on the same page at the same time - but I think this might be one of those years where everyone will want to do the same thing. Whatever that is."

Fleetwood Mac's Rumours is regarded as one of the best albums of all time and, around the time of its release, the band were among the biggest acts in the world. However, the episodes of drug abuse and the divorce of members John and Christine McVie halted the band's progress.
