Various different reports are surfacing about a Faces reunion tour, with Red Hot Chilli Peppers Flea rumoured to be taking over from the late Ronnie Laine on bass duties.
The Mirror reported that guitarist Ronnie Wood announced that the band had been working with Flea at the South Bank Awards on Tuesday, while Mr. Wood supposedly told Rolling Stone magazine that he and frontman Rod Stewart had been working on new material over the Christmas period with a view to tour in 2009.
Despite these reports, Billboard.com reports that Stewart's spokesperson has denied any plans for a comeback, while Flea's publicist insists the Chilli Pepper "knows nothing."
