The first brand new, completely unreleased, song from The Doors in 40 years has been released. 'She Smells So Nice' was recorded by the original Doors line-up in the sessions prior to the release of L.A. Woman, the final Doors album, in 1971. The Doors' frontman Jim Morrison passed away a few months after the album's release.

L.A. Woman is being given the full reissue treatment to celebrate its 40th anniversary, with a two-CD release and DVD/Blu-ray hitting the shops on January 20th.

In addition to the never-heard-before tracks, the second disc of the reissue includes eight, up to now, never heard before versions and alternate takes of the likes of 'Love Her Madly', 'Riders On The Storm' and 'L.A. Woman'.
